At the Primary Care Coalition (PCC), our mission is to improve the health of vulnerable individuals and families by building partnerships and strengthening systems. For 30 years, we've been making health happen in Montgomery County and beyond.
Join us on May 20, 2023 at the scenic Kentlands Green for a series of mood-regulating breathing exercises followed by a yoga practice to boost your energy and mindfulness. Bring your friends, your family, and your yoga mat to celebrate 30 years of PCC with an afternoon of accessible wellness.
We're so excited to be partnering with Dave Scher, Chacha King, and the Authentic Yoga and Healing Arts Studio team for the day. Dave's philosophy is that "yoga is important, but not serious," and he assures us we'll "be having a blast."
This is not a class specific to experienced yogis or even the seriously in shape. It's a chance for us all to gather in person, enjoy moving as we're able, and celebrate health in community.
Snacks and drinks will be provided courtesy of Target Gaithersburg.
No yoga mat? No worries. Bring a towel or a blanket to put over your patch of grass.
Remember to listen to your body and adjust or rest as needed. The team at Authentic Yoga will be there to guide you, but by joining the practice you acknowledge that you're participating at your own risk.
April showers are raining out our original date. Mark your calendars for a Saturday afternoon mood boost on May 20th. We'll still be in scenic Kentlands Green with guided breathing, invigorating music, and fun flows.
See you on the green!
